Candidacy Statement:
To my fellow District 3 Kinesiologists,
I am running for a position on the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario council because I am interested in learning more about the inner workings of our College. Having served on both the Quality Assurance and the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committees, I have gained some insight into how the College sets and adheres to policies and strategic direction, ensuring the public is protected and Kinesiologists are held to the highest standard.
As much as I have grown as a professional and refined my practice since serving on these committees, I would like the opportunity to learn even more and to be a part of the continued growth of the profession. I can offer to the Council strong record-keeping abilities, collegial skills and a special interest in ethics.
It has been a pleasure to work with both professional and public committee members and to learn about the diversity of Kinesiology. I believe we each bring a unique set of knowledge, judgement and experience to the table and I look forward to the chance to share mine and learn from others.
Thank you.
Sue
