Candidacy Statement:
Hello fellow colleagues! My name is Ben Phalavong, I live and work within Windsor and I have been a kinesiologist for approximately four years (three within District 6). What gravitated me to pursue this council seat is having the opportunity to represent our geographical location to bring forth issues/concerns we may face as a profession. Throughout the years, I have experience with working on a couple of the college's committee's: the Item Writing and Item Review Committees. I thoroughly enjoyed being apart of that and have always envisioned of continuing to serve within the college.
If I am fortunate to hold a seat within the council, my vision is to act in the profession's best interest, to advocate and advance our profession within the lens of the public, other regulated health care professionals, and other stakeholders.
Thank you for your time,
Ben
